PIB/Wikipedia record that the Defence Ministry cleared the AMCA Programme Execution Model on 27 May 2025. ADA issued an EoI on 18 Jun 2025 to shortlist Indian industry for prototype development, flight testing and certification. Wikipedia currently tracks prototype rollout around 2028-29, first flight in 2029, service introduction around 2034 and series production around 2035.
