VL-SRSAM remains in advanced user-associated flight-test phase for Indian Navy point defence. DRDO and the Navy successfully tested the missile against a high-speed low-altitude target from a land-based vertical launcher at ITR Chandipur on 26 Mar 2025; keep as trial/prototype until a public production or ship-fit contract is confirmed.
